There is an extremely important relationship between tariffs, classification, the freight forwarding function and the customs clearance procedures, particularly in relation to imported components to be used by EPCM contractors on major capital projects.

All of our consultants are Licenced Customs Brokers as opposed to many of our competitor tariff consultants who have no formal licencing nor regulations recognising their ability to perform the required functions. Further, many of these competitors do not have our broad operational knowledge required to liaise with the contractors’ appointed customs brokers & freight forwarders to ensure goods are shipped in a fashion to ensure that overall shipping costs, including duty, are always minimised.
